According to Mr. Le Tri Thong, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association, over the past 30 years, the Association has always shared the same goal, aspiration and spirit of tireless dedication for the prosperous development of businesses, the city and the country. “Each member of the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association has become a bridge connecting and cooperating in diverse ecosystems, creating a strong infrastructure for the remarkable growth of businesses, contributing to the development of the city and the country today,” said Mr. Tri Thong.
Mr. Tri Thong said that over the past three decades, the Ho Chi Minh City Young Business Association (YBA HCM) has attracted more than 4,000 members and built an ecosystem of more than 15,000 members, becoming an important bridge in the business community. With more than 2,500 domestic and foreign trade connection programs, YBA HCM has contributed significantly to market expansion and international cooperation. In particular, the capitalization scale of member businesses has exceeded 1,000,000 billion VND. The contributions of the YBA HCM ecosystem do not stop at business, but also bring tens of thousands of billions of VND to the state budget and more than 500 billion VND for social security activities, along with thousands of billions of VND from member businesses.
“After nearly 3 decades of development, YBA HCM has firmly become a bridge connecting thousands of young businesses, making an important contribution to the prosperity of the business community and the city. Today’s anniversary ceremony is not only an opportunity for YBA HCM to look back on the past journey but also an opportunity to listen, share and together continue to write new pages of history for strong development in the future”, Mr. Le Tri Thong shared.
On this occasion, Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association was honored to receive the Traditional Flag of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.
In addition to business, Mr. Le Tri Thong said that YBA HCM also affirmed its great contributions to the community, strengthening social work. In the 2020 – 2023 term alone, despite facing challenges from the Covid-19 pandemic, YBA-HCM contributed more than 79 billion VND to social security activities, clearly demonstrating the spirit of dedication to overcome difficulties and challenges. Not only that, YBA HCM also contributed greatly to creating millions of direct and indirect jobs in Ho Chi Minh City; neighboring areas, contributing to sustainable socio-economic development.
Sharing about the goals and vision of YBA HCM in the 2023-2026 term, Mr. Le Tri Thong said that the Association continues its journey with the spirit of “Devotion – Innovation – Breakthrough – Reaching out”. The Association will focus on strategic programs such as “Raising entrepreneurs – reaching out to businesses”, “Sustainable development – social responsibility”, and “Connecting to reach out”, to enhance the position of young entrepreneurs in Ho Chi Minh City in the international arena, contributing to the sustainable development of the economy.

Speaking at the 30th anniversary celebration, Mr. Phan Van Mai, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, on behalf of the city’s leaders, thanked the members of YBA HCM for their great contributions to the city’s economy over the years. “That is a contribution to building the entrepreneurial spirit and the entrepreneurial team. Thereby, creating a business environment in Ho Chi Minh City that is already dynamic, even more dynamic and effective,” said Mr. Phan Van Mai.
Mr. Phan Van Mai believes that over the past 30 years, YBA HCM has opened up, committed itself, and connected to create great values. The qualities of young entrepreneurs in the coming time need to be more pioneering, innovative, and creative. The story of innovation and creativity needs to continue to be promoted on the foundation that has been built. Young entrepreneurs need to approach, use, and master technology to develop, contribute to integration and compete in the international market.
