Logo and slogan contest celebrates the 50th anniversary of Tuoi Tre newspaper
Participants:
All readers of Tuoi Tre newspaper at home and abroad, those with expertise in creating logos or slogans. Members of the organizing committee and jury are not allowed to participate in the competition.
Requirements for contest logo: Individuals or groups can participate (no more than 3 people). The idea – logo design submitted for the contest is the creation of the author/author group, has never been published in the mass media, has not participated in any competition and does not violate the Intellectual Property Law. .
Contest logo must be guaranteed:
Distinctiveness: Expresses the typical features and identifying characteristics of Tuoi Tre newspaper in an impressive, easy-to-understand and recognizable way.
Aesthetics: Demonstrates creativity and uniqueness, consistent with the characteristics of Tuoi Tre media agency.
Generality: Demonstrates conciseness and minimalism in lines and colors when conveying artistic content and form; Avoid confusion with logos of other media units.
Applicability: Convenient when printing, copying, enlarging, reducing, ensuring uniform, sharp resolution and display on items with different materials; Convenient for promotion and long-term use.
If it is a design, it must be presented in a file with a width of 15cm (300DPI), the design must have no more than 4 colors (excluding white), a miniature copy of the logo design printed in black and white with a width of 3cm (placed below). right corner of the application file). Accept design file formats, prioritize EPS, PDF, JPG… in the preliminary round. When entering the final round (20 works), choose vector files (AI, CDR, EPS…).
The 50th anniversary logo of Tuoi Tre newspaper must show the number 50, marking the development from traditional print journalism to multimedia journalism.
The logo design must be accompanied by a brief explanation of about 500 words.
Requirements for contest slogan:
The slogan is expressed in Vietnamese (English is encouraged) to express the message of Tuoi Tre newspaper and inspire Tuoi Tre readers.
Short, concise, new, easy to understand, easy to remember, no more than 10 words, can be stylized, colorful, stand alone or go with the logo, not duplicate other slogans already in the country and foreign.
A brief explanation of the contest slogan in Vietnamese, no more than 100 words.
Encourage the display of logos and slogans on the same work to create uniformity and harmony.
General requirements:
` Authors can submit their own ideas – logo design, slogan idea or both.
` Each author or group of authors submits a maximum of 3 ideas – designs.
` All ideas and designs entered in the contest can be used by the organizers in communication activities – events, printing on Tuoi Tre newspaper products.
` During the competition period, authors are not allowed to use their works to participate in any other competition.
` The content of the logo idea for the 50th anniversary of Tuoi Tre newspaper and the contest slogan must not violate State and law regulations, must not be contrary to good customs and traditions, and must not be related to politics, religion, or people. clan.

1 first prize for Tuoi Tre newspaper’s 50th anniversary logo worth 15 million VND.
3 consolation prizes of 5 million VND each.

Time to receive entries:
From September 1 to November 1, 2024.
Contest entries should be emailed to 50namtuoitre@tuoitre.com.vn.
The author must clearly state name – age – citizen identification number, phone, email, contact address and account number so that Tuoi Tre newspaper will pay royalties if selected for publication or awarded.
For readers who are abroad, there must be an authorized person in Vietnam.
During the competition, if any problems arise, the organizers can adjust and supplement information and regulations accordingly. The decision of the contest organizers is final.
