On September 13 and 14, Miss Do Thi Ha visited Nu village, Phuc Khanh commune, Bao Yen district, Lao Cai province, which suffered many human and property losses due to recent storms and floods.
It is known that Miss Vietnam 2020 and the charity group traveled for about 9 hours to reach the place that suffered the most damage after Typhoon Yagi. Upon arrival, the beauty from Thanh Hoa was heartbroken to see the scene of Nu village buried in mud. In addition, along the swamps, there were incense bowls of people praying to find their loved ones.
Do Thi Ha was moved when she understood the losses and pain of the people in Nu village.
Here, Miss Do Thi Ha spent time visiting, encouraging and comforting the families who unfortunately lost their loved ones. “Everyone was stunned, sad and extremely haunted by what had happened. Ha was deeply moved by the stories of the people, some could not hide their heartache and burst into tears when Ha asked them about it,” the 23-year-old beauty choked up.
To give people more spiritual strength and motivation, Do Thi Ha and the volunteer group not only gave gifts but also sent each household 5 million VND. The beauty from Thanh Hoa hopes that the people here will soon recover their spirits, stabilize their lives and develop production.
Miss Do Thi Ha encourages families who lost loved ones after the storm in Nu village
Miss Vietnam 2020 expressed: “Natural disasters are truly devastating, turning a person who had a full life into a proletariat and lonely. Hopefully, with the support and sharing from the government and people across the country, the people of Nu village will soon recover and stabilize their lives. I hope we will continue to work together towards Lao Cai and the North so that people can overcome the consequences of storms and floods, stabilize their jobs, and children can go to school again.”
Previously, Miss Do Thi Ha also went to Tuyen Quang province and provided additional support to the local people. The 23-year-old beauty queen shared that she felt relieved when the floodwaters receded and thanks to the support of the local government, people’s lives were gradually recovering. In addition, Miss Vietnam 2020 continuously updated the damage caused by flash floods in Thach Thanh district, Thanh Hoa.
