With a capacity of up to 37 liters, the Honda Lead trunk can hold 2 large full-face helmets and many other personal items.
This is also one of the reasons why Honda Lead is chosen by many people, especially women, to carry “the whole world”. That can include helmets, summer sun protection shirts or winter jackets, raincoats, backpacks, handbags, expensive items that are at risk of being snatched if worn on the body… For mothers, it is also the cumbersome items of their active children.
But that’s why, if you open the trunk of the Honda Lead, it’s easy to see a messy space due to having to store too many things.
“Carry the world with you” in a less “annoying” way
That’s why Ms. NTThu Hau (also known as Kalisha Ngo), a Honda Lead owner in Phan Thiet, Binh Thuan, came up with a very creative and cheap way to divide compartments, thereby helping women “carry the whole world with them”.
According to Ms. Hau, she has been using various pieces of cardboard to rearrange the space in the trunk of her Honda Lead for the past 5-6 years. When the edges become worn, she will “refurbish” them.
“Anyone who uses a Honda Lead will understand the inconvenience of this huge trunk. Everyone knows the benefits of a large trunk. But this trunk is slightly tilted, so it tends to push everything forward. So, sometimes when you put too many things in, you have to turn everything over to find them, and then get frustrated with yourself,” Ms. Hau shared about the reason for deciding to “modify” the trunk.
The method is also very simple. That is, cutting and joining cardboard pieces into a semi-oval shape that fits the top of the trunk. She divided this “cabinet” into two floors. The upper floor is divided into 3 small compartments and the lower floor is designed as a drawer. The partitions are also cardboard. After successfully creating the shape, she covered it with her favorite colored paper to increase the aesthetics.

People can also divide the compartments or extend the size of this “cabinet” according to their usage habits.
According to Ms. Hau, this way, the above inconveniences will be solved, and the trunk space will be maximized. She can store many things such as needles and thread, lubricant, two glasses, spare bags, a few colored pens, a tape measure, hair ties, gloves, masks, hair clips, paper clips, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, envelopes, rubber bands, raincoats, sun-protective skirts, hats, jackets, spare clothes, towels, knives, scissors and other miscellaneous items.
Currently, she is still using partitions made from cardboard. But she also said that in the future, she plans to bring this model to the shop to have it made from stainless steel so that it can be “used for life”, without having to replace it every time it gets worn out.
The online community is “crazy” about this surprisingly simple creation.
Her post was posted on a family group, attracting thousands of comments and many women learned from it. After that, many people also shared their “learning” results.
