Northern lottery prize receiving rules
– Winning tickets must be intact, not torn, patched or erased. The prize-claiming period for winning tickets is 30 days from the date of announcement of the winning results. If this period is exceeded, winning lottery tickets will lose their prize-claiming value.
– If the prize is 10 million VND or more, the winner must pay personal income tax equal to 10% of the prize value.
– Winners can receive their prize in one lump sum via bank transfer or cash.
– The winner can also authorize another person to receive the prize on his/her behalf, but must have all the necessary documents as required by the lottery company.

– 100 Annual Prizes, each prize worth 1,000,000 VND
– 300 Sixth Prizes, each prize worth 400,000 VND
– 1,000 Seventh Prizes, each worth 200,000 VND
– 10,000 Eighth prizes, each worth 100,000 VND
– There are 9 Special Consolation Prizes, each worth 50,000,000 VND. The Consolation Prize is for tickets with only 1 wrong digit in the hundreds or thousands place compared to the Special Prize.
– There are 45 Consolation Prizes, each worth 6,000,000 VND. The Consolation Prize is for winning lottery tickets in the hundreds of thousands column, with only 1 digit wrong in any of the remaining 5 digits compared to the Special Prize.
