According to the representative of the People’s Committee of Bac Tu Liem District, on September 17, the district’s interdisciplinary inspection team proactively inspected the scene. However, the water had completely receded since the night of September 16, so it was not possible to accurately assess the incident. The People’s Committee of Bac Tu Liem District has assigned the District Police and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to coordinate and continue the investigation. If there are any environmental violations, they will be strictly handled.
Regarding the incident, the representative of the Ward People’s Committee Co Nhue 2 also said that the locality currently has an industrial cluster that has been operating for many years. Due to problems and disputes, the relocation of this industrial cluster has not been completely resolved.
