The bridge of love No. 108 – Xeo Van bridge was inaugurated on the morning of August 16. The bridge connects the two banks of the river in My Xuong commune, Cao Lanh district, Dong Thap province, becoming a safe traffic route for the people here. The worries and anxiety when having to walk on the dilapidated wooden bridge with rotten pieces of wood put together, dangerous because there is no protective railing. Especially in the rainy season, all activities of the people are forced to stop, the water rises, flows rapidly, the only way to cross the river has been blocked.
Ms. Dinh Thi Co of My Thoi Hamlet shared: “We have been waiting for this new bridge for a long time but it has not been built. Now, with the sponsorship of the “Bridge of Love” program of Tien Phong Plastic, we have built a spacious bridge for the people. We are very happy. The children can now safely go to school. The lives of the people in the Hamlet have improved a lot.”
And hope has been rekindled, the new concrete bridge has officially come into use. Xeo Van Bridge is 30 meters long, 3.5 meters wide, 3 tons load capacity with a total construction cost of nearly 382,000,000 VND, meeting modern technical standards, ensuring high durability and safety. Now, despite the floods, people can still continue their daily livelihood activities, develop their family economy and children confidently and happily go to school, learn new knowledge, and prepare for the path of future development.
On the same day, August 16, Love Bridge No. 109 was officially inaugurated in Phuong Thinh Commune, Cao Lanh District, Dong Thap Province. The bridge is designed with a length of 30 meters, a width of 3.5 meters and a load capacity of 3 tons, allowing vehicles to move safely. This helps to upgrade the limited traffic infrastructure here, contributing to helping people easily access more opportunities and potential markets for development, increasing economic efficiency and improving social life.
The Tay Xep Canal Bridge – CNYT No. 109 is the second bridge in the series of inauguration events of Tien Phong Plastic, the newly built bridge replaces the old bridge that has seriously degraded, hindering the trading activities of the people for many years. The bridge of love No. 109 is not only a bridge connecting the two banks but also becomes a bridge for the strong development of the locality in the future.

The “Bridge of Love” program has gone through a long journey of more than 7 years, with nearly 120 bridges built and put into use, bringing joy and hope to tens of thousands of households across the country, helping countless children on their way to school. With the successes achieved, the program will continue to expand, build more new bridges, connect areas with many difficulties, helping them rise out of poverty.
Representative of Tu Tam Charity Group – a companion of the program “Bridge of Love”, Mr. Pham Minh shared: “We have been witnessing positive changes from the construction of bridges in rural areas. In addition, the “Bridge of Love” program also organizes gift-giving activities for poor families and studious students who have overcome difficulties. The gifts contain the deep affection and care from the benefactors, helping to cover part of the living expenses, while encouraging students to continue to strive to study, despite the disadvantages in life.
It is known that CNYT came to Dong Thap since 2018, up to now the program has donated 12 bridges to the whole Dong Thap province. The total budget that the CNYT program supported to build 12 bridges is nearly 3 billion VND.
