At the signing ceremony of the sponsorship agreement between FFC and Vatanac Brewery Limited, Thao Sokha said that football is popular in the world and in Cambodia, and that the main purpose of promoting this sport is not only competition, but also welfare, education and discipline. , raising awareness in the areas of morality, mutual respect, solidarity, friendship, economics, human relations, culture and tourism. ”
He asserted that FFC hopes to promote the development of Cambodian football through future projects.
The 32nd SEA Games is the largest sporting event hosted by Cambodia.
The Cambodian U22 men’s soccer team is in Thailand for their final training session before the start of the SEA Games qualifiers.
For the 32nd SEA Games, the Cambodia U22 soccer team is in Group A alongside Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines and Timor-Leste. Meanwhile, Vietnam is in Group B along with Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Laos. Cambodia will play their first match against Timor-Leste on April 29th.
